What makes a temple wedding demanding is precisely what makes it meaningful: it runs to the temple’s rules, not yours. Muhurtham windows are fixed by the astrologer, slots are allotted by the Devaswom, documentation is exacting, and the ceremony itself is often far shorter than families expect. Everything around it — the hall, the sadya, where two hundred relatives stand and when they eat — is where the day is won or lost.

We begin from the astrologer’s window and build the day outward from it, then secure the ceremony slot with the Devaswom — morning timings in season go quickly.

Age proof, identification for the couple and both sets of parents, photographs, enrolment forms and witnesses — assembled and checked before submission, not at the counter.
Rituals & officiants
Coordination with the temple priests, the nadaswaram and melam, and the specific customs of your family and community.

Timing
Planning Around the Muhurtham
The muhurtham, not the calendar, sets a Hindu temple wedding — and auspicious windows cluster, which means much of a district may be marrying the same weekend. The single most useful thing you can do is bring us the muhurtham as early as you have it. The difference between securing your temple slot and preferred hall, and settling for a third choice, is often a matter of weeks.
Certain periods are traditionally avoided — Karkidakam, the Malayalam month across roughly July and August, among them. Peak wedding season runs November to May, when temple towns are busiest and halls book far ahead. We confirm the current Devaswom procedures directly with each temple for every wedding, rather than relying on what was true last season.
